Chat & General Behavior
1.1) We expect everyone to be welcoming and treat each other with respect. Keep drama out of our community, please handle any conflicts privately and out of the public eye of Chromiecraft. If you have an issue with another user, take it to their DMs. A calm conversation can often clear things up.
1.2) Avoid Divisive Topics. To keep our community focused and inclusive for all, we do not permit discussions around sensitive topics like politics, religion or acts of war as examples where there are a lot of places on the internet already to engage in these. Focus on topics such as World of Warcraft and those that unite and do not cause divide. This also includes naming of characters not being allowed of those which fall into the above categories.
1.3) No NSFW, suicide content, harassment, racism / xenophobia, hate speech etc. As per rule 1.1, we are a welcoming community for all here, no matter your beliefs, colour, age etc.
1.4) The spreading of false information around the server, advertising other projects, impersonation of Azerothcore and / or Chromiecraft staff is strictly forbidden. This includes attacks on our contributors, developers and staff who develop Chromiecraft in their spare time for free for all to enjoy. Constructive criticism, reporting of issues or enquiries into fixes are always welcome.
1.5) Any sort of Real Money Trade (RMT), exchange of in game services for real-world goods, examples include but are not limited to selling of accounts, leveling boosts and or in game items is strictly forbidden.
Gameplay
2.1) Any forms of automated gameplay, examples include but are not limited to clickers, bots or scripts is not allowed. Any form of hacks, cheats or dupes will lead to a permanent ban of all accounts for good.
2.2) Win trading in arenas, battlegrounds or purposely AFK’ing / not participating meaningfully in these games is not allowed. Hold your honor and fight fair, any acts of intentionally griefing your team can lead to action being taken against you. This includes going into areas not intended to be allowed to be in (known also as safe-spotting). When flagged for PvP, you are only allowed to have the one character logged in no matter where or what the other one is doing.
2.3) Griefing in low level areas of NPCs, such as the AH, flightmasters etc. is forbidden. As a PvE server, any acts of attempting to flag players to PvP will be dealt with harshly. Faction leaders and guards however, are fair game still.
2.4) All connections must be made to the server via a native connection. We do not support emulated instances of WoW, such as those via Android devices on the server. The server will automatically ban these types of connections
Accounts & Multiboxing
3.1) We allow up to a total of 5 accounts to be created per player here on Chromiecraft. These can also be logged in at the same time, providing they follow the below rules.
3.2) Absolutely zero PvP allowed with more than one character logged in, anywhere. In order to queue for BGs / Arenas, flag yourself for PvP or entire an open-world arena, you cannot have more than one character logged on.
3.3) No rare-spawn camping. Competition for these needs to be fair, you can have the one character logged in to act as a camera for the spawn but no other characters can be logged in during this time.
3.4) Non-multiboxers have priority in areas over multiboxers. What this means is if there is a competition for mob spawns in an area, the single character player is allowed to demand you to leave the area so that they can farm there. Action will be taken against you if you do not move to a different area after being asked to do so.
3.5) Only 5 accounts can be logged in at once, any attempts to log in a sixth will lead to it being blocked and potentially banned.
Ban Policies
4.1) Anybody breaking the above rules can expect action to be taken against them. These rules are here for a reason and lack of knowledge of these rules is not an excuse to be let of the hook for breaking them.
4.2) A permanent ban is that, a permanent ban. You can come to us 5 years later, the ban will still be in place. Whilst the use of bots, heavy racism or cheats will lead straight to a permanent ban, lesser offenses will include but are not limited to warnings, chat bans, renames and temporary bans on the account, dependent on severity.
4.3) You are responsible for your own account. Whilst sharing your account with somebody else is not against the rules, punishment will still be dished out against you if the other person breaks a rule whilst using your account. We also will not restore anything done by others using your account.
4.4) Whilst it is impossible to lay out each and every scenario, we attempt to make these rules as easy to follow as possible. The team here on Chromiecraft reserve the right to take action against any malicious behavior, even if not explicitly covered in these rules.
4.5) Should you wish to appeal an action taken against you, please use the ‘Report GM/Staff abuse’ ticket category on Discord to speak with the Admin and/or Project Lead.
