Testers & code reviewers

Unfortunately, there is no (automated) way to count the work of people who help with testing PRs and code reviews, but we want to express our gratitude to all testers and PR reviewers. Your contribution is vital to our project, so thank you very much for what you do.

Fancy joining the team and helping us make Azerothcore the best we can? All details how you can apply for a formal role on the team is here

Read our latest Dev Diary here on the changes to our roadmap and our plan for the release of Northrend. Heroic dungeons are our next releasing, coming on the 17th December!

Community updates

We are exceptionally proud of our community being one of the most welcoming and respectful for all players in the gaming world. We recently had a rewrite of our rules, please take the time to ensure you are familiar with them. Whilst the spirit of the rules remain the same, there are some minor changes which can affect gameplay going forward.

In terms of community action, with over 1400 players on concurrently and regularly hitting over 1k online during the weekend again, we did see a large increase of people not following our rules.

  • 122 accounts received permanent bans for the running of hacks, cheats &/or RMT. This included a bot farm of over 30 accounts being banned.
  • 18 accounts received temporary bans for breaking our server rules.
  • 44 players received time outs and / or reminders of our chat rules.
